This course focuses on laser science and safety, how light interacts with tissue, identifying skin types and disorders, standards and regulations as well as basic hair removal practices. 

During this course, you will be presented with questions and scenarios to support the materials used to deliver the training.

It is a pre-requisite that all students be an Esthetician, Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Electrolysis Technician or Skin Therapist.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

It is preferred for students to dress in black attire. Please bring indoor shoes.

PREREQUSITE

All students registering for this course must be either an Esthetician, RN, LPN, Electrolysis Technician or Skin Therapist.

CERTIFICATION

Certificates will be issued upon successful completion of this course. To receive your certificate, students will be required to complete all in-class quizzes and receive a score of 85% or higher on the final test.
