Course Overview
The Laser Technician Program is a complete curriculum of courses designed to prepare you for the most in-demand laser services. This program combines the Level 1 and Level 2 Laser courses and is delivered both online and in the treatment room. Experience hands-on training using state-of-the-art Cynosure laser devices.
Education on Your Own Terms
At the iBrow Academy, we understand the demands of life, work and family, and have structured this program to offer you the option to complete the training by utilizing our hybrid model: a combination of online and hands-on training. This allows you to study the theory your own pace before attending the hands-on training. Once you register, our administrator will contact you to set up your individual start dates for the program.
Laser Technician Theory
Become confident in all aspects of laser science and safety, skin typing, and anatomy. You will learn about different types of laser devices and develop an understanding of the relationship between chromophores, laser, and I.P.L. treatments. Video reviews are completed prior to each chapter test, and you will advance through the course feeling accomplished in each topic.
Laser Technician Practicum
Your hands-on training will take place using Cynosure devices. Cynosure is the leader in innovative, energy-based cosmetic treatments such as laser and radiofrequency. You will learn how to expertly operate Cynosure’s Icon:
- Laser Hair Removal
- Stretch Marks
- Scars caused by trauma, surgery, and other conditions
- Wrinkles
- Pigmentation: Melasma, Sun Spots and Age Spots: on the face, hands, and décolletage, Redness and Rosacea

Level 1 Laser
The Laser Level 1 Course is delivered both online and in the treatment room. During this course, you will learn laser science, how to thoroughly examine skin and determine how to apply treatments. Conduct confident client consultations and experience hands-on training using state-of-the-art devices such as the Cynosure Icon used for laser hair removal.
Level 2 Laser
The Laser Level 2 Course builds on the fundamentals taught in our Laser Level 1 Course. In this course, you will learn how to administer treatments such as photofacials for hyperpigmentation and non-ablative fractional treatments for stretch marks. We work closely with Cynosure to identify employment opportunities for our students.
